The promotional pieces released so far for the upcoming “Muppets” movie has largely been parodies of other famous films and the final parody of the movie to be released is one that pokes fun at the extremely successful “Paranormal Activity” series of films and also makes fun of the “Twilight” series in addition to other movies released this year. The new Muppet film is slated to hit theaters at the end of November during the Thanksgiving movie going season as has been the case for many other family films released by Disney.
The trailers so far have all been parodies of various films and this fun aspect of the film’s marketing has kept up enthusiasm for the movie and has even led to people renting the old Muppet films that have come out in past years and also increased the interest of downloading or streaming movies through websites like Channel 131. Seeing the same trailer for a film a dozen times before its release is fine, but the creators of the Muppets movies make sure people never get bored with what they’re about to see in theaters.
The great thing about the Muppet parody trailers is that they’re not simply clips from the film but are shorts that have been created solely for advertising and for some entertainment before the actual release of the film. Rather than show the scenes of the actual film a dozen different ways in various lengths of movie trailers, the makers of the Muppet film have made additional footage just for the advertising of it.
